- Be a citizen of a country other than Azerbaijan
- Apply to one of the master’s or Ph.D. programs at Khazar University
- Demonstrate an excellent academic performance and high achievements at previous study level(s)
- Demonstrate academic talent and strong motivation in the chosen field of study
Khazar University Merit Scholarships.
Unlike the Khazar University excellence scholarship, the merit scholarship will only cover 75%, 50%, or 25% of the tuition fee on a competitive basis. This scholarship opportunity is initially awarded for one year. Still, it’s subject to prolongation for the next academic year depending on the student’s academic performance. The Merit scholarship is also open to international students who wish to pursue a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. program at Khazar University.

How To Apply For 2021 International Excellence Scholarships At Khazar University In Azerbaijan
The procedure for applying for both the merit and excellence scholarship is the same. The process is outlined below:
- Visit the Khazar university program list and find the best program for either undergraduate and graduate levels
- once you have selected your preferred program, fill out the application form according to the application guidelines.
- Submit your application to the International Affairs Office. You can send your application via email to international@khazar.org along with all required documents. When sending via email, make sure to indicate a clear subject line – ‘Your name_Khazar International Admission 2021-2022.
- Ensure you indicate that you wish to be considered for a scholarship in the application form. Scholarship awards rest with the Selection Committee.
